We listed some possibilities, from nearby to far away ...

Benahavis: 25 km

A nice little town in the mountains of Ronda, Benahavis is synonymous to food. Visit this pittoresque town if you like to join the Andalucians in the best restaurants of the region.

Before going to the restaurant, some activity might get you hungry.

You can take a walk along the beautiful river Guadalmina, where you can discover amazing rock formation - Angosturas - and take a bath in the river.

Or visit the park of Benahavis, at the castle Montemayor.

Mijas

Mijas: 35 km

428 meters above sea level, Mijas commands great views of the coastal area around Fuengirola.

If you don't like to walk through the narrow streets, you can take a donkey-taxi to make a tour around this beautiful Andalucian village .

The Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepcion - built in mudejar style in 1541 - is located in the Plaza de la Constitucion and is much worth a visit.

For the most amazing viewpoints in Mijas, mount up to the Fortress walls on top of the village

Ronda: 60 km

One of the most visited and photographed cities of Andalusia, Ronda is located on a rocky peak of 800 meters high.

The view on the Spanish country side is absolutely fabulous, and from the bridge down you can take a walk to the Moorish museum.

In the centre of the town, a visit to the arena and it's museum is worth your time.

Before returning to Marbella Senses, enjoy a great meal in one of the nice restaurants in the historical centre.

Málaga: 65 km

Málaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol and is of course a must-visit. The city offers a fine collection of museums, Roman and Arabic monuments, a lively harbour, beaches, nightlife and restaurants.

Also the new harbour with it's shops is a very de-stressing place to be.

The whole year round, there are plenty of events to choose from, including Semana Santa at Easter, the annual Film Festival and the Feria in August, plus Flamenco shows and music concerts.

Gibraltar: 80 km

In good weather conditions you can admire the Rock of Gibraltar from many places in Marbella.

This very special place is very much worth you visit during your stay at Marbella Senses.

The Upper Rock Nature Reserve - habitat of the famous monkeys - can be reached by cable car, or just by climbing up the steep Mediterranean Steps.

You can also book a dolpin/whale excursion to the bay of Gibraltar.

Tarifa: 100 km

In the province of Cadiz, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Tarifa is one of Europe’s best kite & windsurfing destinations.

Many miles of white sandy beaches, excellent whale-watching opportunities, first-rate seafood, and an attractive Arab-looking old town surrounded by medieval walls.

Tanger: 145 km

Tanger is a fascinating Moroccan city to visit.

It is compact, and thus good to be visited by foot.

The medina, the port, the beach, restaurants and bars in Moorish architecture.

To get to Tanger, in Tarifa take one of the many fast hydrofoils organised daily by FRS Ferry Service.

Jerez de la Frontera: 170 km

After the discovery of America, Jerez became one of the most important cities in southern Spain.

Because of its architectural pearls and winehouses known all over the world, this daytrip should be on your bullet list.

Stroll around the Plaza del Arenal, the Calle Larga and the Plaza del Mamelon.

In the city, the Albaycin district is famous for its narrow Medieval Moorish streets, the Sacromonte district for its flamenco and cave houses.

Córdoba: 215 km

Córdoba is originally an old Roman city, along the banks of the Guadalquivir river. You can still use the Roman bridge - the Peuento Romano - to cross the river.

The Mezquita is the main reason why tourists come to Córdoba. It is the perfect mix of Roman, Gothic and Islamic architecture.

Explore the streets surrounding the Mezquita, they are narrow and packed with restaurants and souvenir shops.
